Carroll County will be up against a hot Trimble County squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Everything went the Raiders' way against Cornerstone Christian Academy on Friday as they made off with a 12-2 victory. The Raiders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by nine runs or more this season.

Noah Chilton made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Chilton was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with six stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those six stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Wyatt Wilson was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. Another player making a difference was Nolan Hunt, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Meanwhile, Carroll County came up short against Montgomery County on Friday, falling 14-6.
Dalton Wilson was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
The win got Trimble County back to even at 5-5. As for Carroll County, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Trimble County hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .338. However, it's not like Carroll County struggles in that department as they've averaged .385. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
