Calvary Christian and Community Christian played the most hotly contested game in Independent Christian of GA/AL - South this week, with Calvary Christian eventually emerging with a 20-14 victory.
Dillan Brogdon has thrown for 310 yards and four touchdowns this season, while Jairus Bethel has five catches for 161 yards. CJ Lewis leads the league in rushing with 468 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Knights take on Creekside Christian Academy. As it stands, Calvary Christian is in second, while Jeremy Blackstock's team is in fourth.
Brian Osborne's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 9,792 from 10,146. The improvement came about via a 20-14 victory over Community Christian last week.
