Jason Todd Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Sadly, Jason Todd posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Mobile Christian over St. Michael Catholic on Thursday. Todd made 16 total tackles. The performance once again pushed his average rushing yardage north of 100 yards per game (105.1).
Mobile Christian is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. Todd and Mobile Christian have the luxury of staying home for another week and will welcome Orange Beach at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Noah Moss Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Thursday, St. Michael Catholic got the W thanks in part to Noah Moss playing the best football he has all season. Moss rushed for 225 yards and four touchdowns, and also picked up 70 receiving yards. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in September of 2023. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made a tackle.
St. Michael Catholic pushed their record up to 6-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Moss and St. Michael Catholic will venture away from home to square off against Pensacola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least Two Rushing Touchdowns from Ezavier Crowell
On Thursday, Jackson got the W thanks in part to Ezavier Crowell playing the best football he has all season. Crowell wasn't messing around, rushing for 191 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries. The match was his third straight with two or more rushing touchdowns dating back to last season. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 80-yard run.
Orange Beach had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Crowell it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Crowell saw the Makos), he rushed for 122 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.

Landon Duckworth Goes Supernova in Jackson Win
Landon Duckworth was instrumental in extending Jackson's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Nobody could stop Duckworth as he rushed for 87 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 189 yards and a touchdown while completing 72.7% of his passes. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Orange Beach's probably not too fond of Duckworth given he always seems to get the better of them. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Duckworth saw the Makos), he threw for 220 yards and four touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown.

Rivers Made His Presence Known in St. Michael Catholic's 45-35 Victory
The second St. Michael Catholic player making an appearance here is Gunner Rivers, and for good reason. He threw for 280 yards and two touchdowns while completing 94.4% of his passes.
This year, Rivers has thrown 17 touchdowns while averaging 265.3 passing yards per game.
