The East Davidson Golden Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat South Davidson 75-37 at home. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point East Davidson had established a 29 point advantage.
Despite the loss, South Davidson still got an impressive performance from Kayra Hulin, who scored 24 points along with eight rebounds. That was a full 64.9% of South Davidson's points, marking the seventh time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
The win got East Davidson back to even at 11-11. As for South Davidson, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Davidson will take on Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Thomasville is coming into the matchup with seven straight wins on the road, so East Davidson is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for South Davidson, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against West Davidson at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully South Davidson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 31 on Friday.
