If the Green Hill Hawks were feeling good off their 52-18 takedown of the Mount Juliet Golden Bears two weeks ago, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Green Hill lost to the Buccaneers on the road by a decisive 50-33 margin on Thursday. Leading Beech to victory were Carson Sisk and Genesis Harris. Sisk scored six points along with five steals and two blocks, while Harris scored 11 points. Sisk hasn't dropped below two steals for 18 straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Loryn O'Neal, who scored five points along with three steals.
Green Hill now has a losing record at 10-11. As for Beech, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-7.
Green Hill won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Commandos at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th. As for Beech, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Green Wave at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
