Florence fell just short of Buena Vista by a score of 54-51. While losing is never fun, Florence can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while Buena Vista is ranked 37th).

Perhaps the best among them was Gage Goodall, who scored 16 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals. Goodall scored a full 31.4% of Florence's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Royer, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals.
