The Western Warriors will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Seneca Red Hawks at 6:00 p.m.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 91-18, which was the final score in Western's tilt against the Bears on Friday. Western has struggled against the Bears recently, as their game on Friday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Meanwhile, Seneca entered their tilt with the Mustangs with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Seneca enjoyed a cozy 61-47 victory over the Mustangs on Saturday.
Arionna Tunstall was a one-man wrecking crew for Seneca as she scored 17 points along with eight rebounds. Tunstall is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last 12 games she's played. Justice Parks was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Western has not been sharp recently as the team's lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-15 record this season. As for Seneca, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-10.
Western strolled past the Red Hawks in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 by a score of 60-44. Does Western have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Red Hawks turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
