The Heritage Academy Heroes will take on the Maricopa Institute of Technology at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
Last Thursday, Heritage Academy ended up a good deal behind El Dorado and lost 32-14.
Elliot Cahall put forth a good effort for the losing side as he rushed for 152 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. Cahall was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 53 yards.
Meanwhile, Maricopa Institute of Technology fell victim to Mission Heights Prep's stalwart defense on Thursday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were beaten by the Phantoms 62-0.
