For the second straight game, Fishers will face off against Avon. The Tigers will square off against the Orioles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fishers is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.

Fishers is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Indiana's top teams: Avon, who was ranked 19th at the time (Fishers was ranked first). The Tigers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Orioles on Wednesday, sneaking past 4-2. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Orioles: they've now won three in a row.

For Avon's part, Nolan Hataway was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). Hataway has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Clayton Lenz was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one run.

Fishers' victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3.
