The Uxbridge Spartans came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 63-32 victory over Academy of Notre Dame at home. Uxbridge's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Leading Uxbridge to victory were Kellen Lachapelle and Colin Spencer. Lachapelle scored six points along with six steals, while Spencer scored 13 points. That's the first time this season that Lachapelle grabbed two or more steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aidan Blood, who scored eight points.
Uxbridge's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Academy of Notre Dame, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
