The Boyd Christian Broncos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Cannon County, falling 69-32. Boyd Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-22.
Boyd Christian's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Brooke Kesey, who scored 10 points, and Macie Bush who scored 4 points. Kesey scored a full 31.3% of Boyd Christian's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Boyd Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Cannon County, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyd Christian will face off against St. Andrews-Sewanee at 6:00 p.m. on November 30th. Cannon County will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against DeKalb County at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th.
