1A South Central recap November 13, 2013
Limon extended the longest winning streak in 1A South Central this week by beating Yuma, 22-0. This was the team's 11th consecutive win.
Limon took down the Indians 22-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kerigan Kappel ran for 145 yards in the win.
Mike O'Dwyer's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Gavin Liggett threw for 63 yards and Luke Meier had 20 yards receiving. On the ground Kappel chipped in 145 yards. Cody Bennett helped Limon's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 29 yards.

Kappel provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Limon defeated Jeremy Slack's team. Kappel's key target this week was Meier, who caught 3 passes for 20 yards.
6-foot-0 quarterback Jacob Imber of Byers is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,411. He has also thrown 16 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Ryan Haynes. The Crowley County star has 37 catches for 626 yards.
The Badgers made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,808 from 4,206. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 22-0 victory over the Indians last week.
