Warrensburg is 0-3 against Waynesville since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Warrensburg Tigers' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Waynesville Tigers on December 27th.
Last Thursday, Warrensburg lost to Oak Grove on the road by a decisive 58-42 margin.
Meanwhile, Waynesville's three-game losing streak came to an end last Saturday. It was close, but they ultimately received the gift of a 53-51 win from a begrudging Tigerssquad. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Warrensburg's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Waynesville, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4.
Warrensburg came up short against Waynesville in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 45-32. Can Warrensburg avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
