With a playoff game on the line, the Ennis Lions rose to the challenge on Friday. They walked away with a 21-13 win over Kimball. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ennis also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2017.
Jeremy Brown had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 219 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per carry. Brown 's longest rush was for an incredible 86 yards.
Ennis' victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Kimball, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.
Ennis is on the road again on Friday and play against Lovejoy at 7:00 p.m. on November 17th. Lovejoy is coming into the match hot, having won their last eight games. Kimball does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
