While Landrum's win against Blacksburg wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Cardinals won by a run and slipped past the Wildcats 3-2. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Landrum's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Blacksburg, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.
