The Yulee Hornets's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Baldwin 68-40 on the road. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Yulee has posted since November 28, 2023.
Ace Walker was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 17 points along with six assists and three steals. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alex Naumow, who scored nine points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Yulee's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Baldwin, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-15.
Yulee will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Hilliard at 7:30 p.m. Hilliard is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games. As for Baldwin, they will head out on the road to take on Keystone Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
