Cazares Made His Presence Known in Artesia's 44-40 Loss
Starting off the list is Artesia's Izac Cazares, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Cazares threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played.
Artesia's defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-3. Cazares will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Goddard on Friday.
