There's no place like home for the Fullington Academy Trojans, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They breezed by Crisp Academy at home to the tune of 64-35 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fullington Academy also won the last time the pair played back in January.
Despite the loss, Crisp Academy still got an impressive performance from Tucker Ellenberg, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Ellenberg has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brody Ashton, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Fullington Academy pushed their record up to 9-11 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.5 points per game. As for Crisp Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.
Fullington Academy will head out on the road to square off against Covenant Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Covenant Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday. As for Crisp Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Twiggs Academy at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Crisp Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Tuesday.
