Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cooper Hughes, who scored 16 points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Eric Snow, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Padua Franciscan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gio Roman led the charge by scoring 17 points. Another player making a difference was Riley Cervenka, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Trinity's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-6. As for Padua Franciscan, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.
