After each having a week off, the May River Sharks  and the Georgetown Bulldogs will shake off the cobwebs and  take on  one another  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  both  will really light up the scoreboard.
 While May River didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-7), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. Everything went their way against Brookland-Cayce two weeks ago as May River made off with  a  35-13 win. The  victory was just business as usual for the Sharks , who after four games remain undefeated  this season.
  Andrew Johnson continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 131 yards and three touchdowns. The dominant performance gave  him a new career-high in  rushing yards. May River also got a significant boost from  Gage Duncan, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 104 yards.
 He was just one part of a punishing run game: May River was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 373  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 252  rushing yards in four consecutive  games.
 Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better  (just ask Georgetown). They secured  a  34-29 W over Carvers Bay two weeks ago.
 May River pushed their record up to 4-0 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Georgetown,  the  victory  got them back to even at 2-2.
