ANTELOPE, Calif. -
Antelope (Calif.) captured the lead in the fourth quarter and held on for a 31-24 victory over
Rocklin (Calif.) on Saturday. The Titans captured the lead for good when
Titus Vinson ran for a touchdown.
After trailing 21-14 at the half, the Thunder went ahead on a
Logan Webb touchdown pass to
Jared Amader with 5:00 left in the third. Antelope finally took the lead for good as Vinson ran for a touchdown with 11:00 remaining in the fourth quarter.
By the end of the third, AHS found itself trailing by 3 points as Rocklin captured the lead thanks to two scores in the quarter. RHS scored on a field goal and a touchdown pass by Webb to Amader in the quarter.
With the win the Titans extended their winning streak to eight games. Antelope defeated the Wildcats 35-27 last week.
Webb played well for the Thunder. The junior quarterback threw three touchdowns.
Vinson played well for AHS in the victory. He ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
