Alie Bangura Delivers Best Effort of Season
Middle Tennessee Christian was led to victory by Alie Bangura, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Bangura rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble and making six total tackles.
Middle Tennessee Christian's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Cougars takes on Providence Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Car'lando Barton Delivers Electric Effort Vs York Institute
Car'Lando Barton continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fifth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least two rushing touchdowns. He rushed for 133 yards and three touchdowns. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up a sack and made two total tackles.
Friendship Christian moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. Barton and Friendship Christian will challenge Ezell-Harding Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Shy Murphy Leads Middle Tennessee Christian over King's Academy
On Friday, Middle Tennessee Christian got the W thanks in part to Shy Murphy playing the best football he has all season. Murphy picked up 96 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 31 yards and a touchdown. He torched the secondary when he pulled down a catch that went for 96 yards.
King's Academy's probably not too fond of Murphy given he always seems to get the better of them. Murphy rushed for 146 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries the last time he and the Lions duked it out back in October of 2023.
