The Selinsgrove Seals and the Aliquippa Quips squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but sadly the Selinsgrove Seals had to settle for second. They were the victim of a rough 52-32 loss at the hands of the Quips. Selinsgrove's loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.
Selinsgrove's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ethan Miller, who rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also picked up 34 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Tucker Teats, who rushed for 117 yards and a touchdown.
Selinsgrove's defeat dropped their record down to 13-1-1. As for Aliquippa, they have yet to lose a game on the road this season, leaving them with a 13-0 record.
Selinsgrove does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Aliquippa is on the road again on Thursday and play against Dallas at 7:00 p.m. on December 7th. The last three games Dallas has played have been within five points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
