The Gloucester County Christian Conquerors stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 58-12 win over Cumberland Christian at home. The win was nothing new for Gloucester County Christian as they're now sitting on six straight.
Angela Karamisakis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with five assists and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Caroline Shields, who scored 13 points.
Gloucester County Christian pushed their record up to 11-3 with that win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.2 points per game. As for Cumberland Christian, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Gloucester County Christian and the Pioneers will face off at 5:30 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The pair have allowed few points on average, (The Pilgrim Academy: 28.6, the Conquerors: 25.8) so any points scored will be well earned. As for Cumberland Christian, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Warrior at 4:00 p.m. Calvary Academy is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
