Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, Md.) bested
St. John's (Washington, D.C.) 41-17 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by O'Daniel in the first quarter, the Falcons led 20-10 at the half.
Our Lady of Good Counsel expanded its lead to 24 points entering the fourth quarter. OLGC scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by O'Daniel.
Will Ulmer played well for the Cadets. The junior quarterback ran for one touchdown.

Kirk Garner, the Olney school went into the matchup giving up only 12.9 points per game.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Falcons came away with a 47-7 victory.
St. John's (5-4) goes up against Gonzaga in a Washington Catholic game matchup next week, while Our Lady of Good Counsel (7-1) locks horns with Bishop O'Connell also in a Washington Catholic game.
