The Bountiful RedHawks entered their tilt with the Woods Cross Wildcats with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Everything went Bountiful's way against Woods Cross on Wednesday as Bountiful made off with a 74-53 win. Bountiful has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
Leading Bountiful to victory were Taylor Harvey and Milika Satuala. Harvey scored 24 points along with six rebounds, while Satuala dropped a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Satuala has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Adelaide Stevenson, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Bountiful pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Woods Cross, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
Bountiful will head out on the road to square off against Box Elder at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Box Elder focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday. As for Woods Cross, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bonneville at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. Bonneville has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9.
