Millersburg and Upper Dauphin Area are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Millersburg Indians will head out on the road to take on the Upper Dauphin Area Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Millersburg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Monday.
Millersburg posted their closest win yet this season on Monday. They had just enough and edged Susquenita out 41-39.
Millersburg's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tavin Yates led the charge by scoring ten points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Yates has scored all season. Nolan Schreffler was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Upper Dauphin Area was able to grind out a solid victory over East Juniata on Thursday, taking the game 43-35.
Millersburg's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Upper Dauphin Area, their victory bumped their record up to 2-14.
Millersburg strolled past Upper Dauphin Area in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 by a score of 52-36. Will Millersburg repeat their success, or does Upper Dauphin Area have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
