Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, The Webb Schools Gauls couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of Lynwood by a score of 30-27. The Webb Schools' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Several Gauls players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Troy Seanoa, who rushed for 47 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 62 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes.
The Webb Schools' defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Lynwood, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-4.
The Webb Schools does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lynwood will be playing in front of their home fans against Whittier Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
