The Cooter Wildcats won the last time they faced the North Pemiscot Mustangs, and things went their way on Monday too. Cooter blew past North Pemiscot 81-13 on the road. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cooter.
Caleb Gunnels was the offensive standout of the contest as he scored 17 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryce Lynn, who scored 16 points.
Cooter's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for North Pemiscot, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Cooter will be playing in front of their home fans against Northeast Arkansas Christian Home Educators at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. North Pemiscot won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Scott City at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th.
