Softball Recap: Belmont's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

Belmont can bid farewell to their nine-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-3 margin over the Biggersville Lions. Considering the Cardinals have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Belmont's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Biggersville, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11 record this season.

Belmont will challenge Waterloo at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Biggersville, they will take on New Site at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
