Boyle County has gone 9-1 against Garrard County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rebels will look to defend their home field against the Golden Lions at 6:00 p.m. Boyle County will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.
On Monday, Boyle County sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over Russell County.
Blayne Kenney spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on five hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Austin Bodner was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. He is becoming a predictor of Boyle County's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 6-7 when he doesn't). Kyler Claunch was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
Boyle County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Garrard County). Everything went their way against Model on Monday as they made off with an 18-2 victory. The Golden Lions haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.
Justin Parsons was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, three doubles, and four RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Logan Quinn, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one double.
Boyle County's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-7. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Garrard County, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.
Boyle County came out on top in a nail-biter against Garrard County in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Rebels repeat their success, or do the Golden Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
