Meanwhile, Pinnacle Classical Academy entered their tilt with Challenger with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Pinnacle Classical Academy enjoyed a cozy 70-51 victory over Challenger on Friday. With that win, Pinnacle Classical Academy brought their scoring average up to 53 points per game.
Pinnacle Classical Academy relied on the efforts of Cody Humphries, who scored 13 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals, and Braylon Gentry, who scored 31 points. The contest was Gentry's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Evan Bridges, who scored 4 points along with 8 assists and 7 steals.
The losses dropped The Master's Academy to 2-2 and Haywood Christian Academy to 1-5.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: The Master's Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 37.5 rebounds per game.
