Quinebaug Valley Coop was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2021.
Leading Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT to victory were Logan Stone and Malik Sanchez-Colon. Stone rushed for 65 yards and a touchdown, while Sanchez-Colon rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns.
Quinebaug Valley Coop now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-5.
Quinebaug Valley Coop will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] at 5:00 p.m. Thames River co-op [Norwich RVT/Grasso RVT/St. Bernard] is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Wilcox Tech/Kaynor RVT, they will challenge Vinal RVT/Goodwin RVT at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Vinal RVT/Goodwin RVT is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
