Buckholts can finally bid farewell to their 23-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Saturday. They strolled past the CenTex HomeSchool Chargers with points to spare, taking the game 42-28. The Badgers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Buckholts' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Anthony Salomon, who posted 13 points in addition to five boards and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Marc King, who put up 17 points.

Buckholts' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. As for CenTex HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Buckholts will venture away from home to challenge Methodist Children's Home at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for CenTex HomeSchool, they are taking a road trip to square off against Central Texas Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Texas Christian will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something CenTex HomeSchool surely won't give up without a fight.
