The Lehi Pioneers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of Raymond (Alberta) by a score of 60-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Lehi still got an impressive performance from Addy Scrivner, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds. The game was Scrivner's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Kaleigh Freeman was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Lehi's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 6-6. That rough patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Raymond (Alberta), the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Lehi's homestand continues as they prepare to take on American Fork at 12:00 p.m. on January 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (American Fork is ranked 43rd, while Lehi is ranked 23rd). Raymond (Alberta) does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
