Heritage Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 26 points or more this season.
Heritage Christian was led to victory by Raul Bertinato and Levi Hermsen. Bertinato scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds, while Hermsen scored 16 points along with seven assists and seven steals. Bertinato is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Nehemiah Baldwin was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Heritage Christian pushed their record up to 9-1 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Wiggins, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-7.
Heritage Christian will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Bishop Machebeuf at 7:45 p.m. Bishop Machebeuf knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully Heritage Christian likes a good challenge.
