Oglesby extended their postseason success on Saturday against Richland Springs. They enjoyed a cozy 62-48 win over the Coyotes. Yes, you read that score correctly, and yes, they were playing football.
Kyler Fossett was his usual excellent self, rushing for 284 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 12.3 yards per carry. Fossett was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 60 yards. Oglesby also got a significant boost from Ej Aviles, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 91 yards.
Meanwhile, Benjamin stacked a 14th blowout onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They blew past Klondike, posting a 52-4 victory on the road.
It was another big night for Grayson Rigdon, who rushed for 323 yards and six touchdowns on only eight carries. Rigdon has been hot recently, having posted six or more solo tackles the last three times he's played.
Oglesby's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-0. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 36.36 points. As for Benjamin, their victory bumped their record up to 14-0.
