Lighthouse Private Christian Academy was the 13-3 winner over Booker T. Washington when they last played one another last Monday, but their luck changed this time around. The Lighthouse Private Christian Academy Stingrays lost 19-9 to the Booker T. Washington Wildcats on Monday. Even though they lost, the Stingrays' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.5 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).

Kilee M made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole Five bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. She also put up a hit, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Rylee L, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while going 3-for-4.

Even though they lost, Lighthouse Private Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .571. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lighthouse Private Christian Academy dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Booker T. Washington, their win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lighthouse Private Christian Academy will host West Florida Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lighthouse Private Christian Academy has given up an average of 15.7 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Booker T. Washington, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Booker T. Washington Wildcats challenge Pensacola Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. They are facing Pensacola at the right time seeing as Pensacola is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
