Adding to the longest winning streak in Cardinal this week, Wayne beat Hoover 53-20. This was the team's seventh consecutive win.
Wayne took down the Huskies 53-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Brandon Ward provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Tolsia beat Scott.
Wes Waller and Ward gave the Rebels a balanced attack through the air and ground last week. Waller threw for 34 yards and 1 touchdown, while Ward ran for 94 yards. Waller also contributed to the rushing game with 47 yards on the ground.
The leading receiver in the league this season is Tyler Gibson. The Poca star has 13 catches for 245 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Poca takes on Tom Harmon's team. The Dots' offense has racked up 139 points this season, earning them the top spot in the league, while the Pioneers have allowed only 74 on the year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Tolsia takes on Chapmanville Regional. At the moment, Mike Smith's team is in fifth, while the Tigers are in fourth.
Wayne led Cardinal in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on Hoover.
