Softball Recap: Trinity Extends Winning Streak to Three

Trinity had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 10-7 win over the CORE Butte Lynx. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2017.

Mckenna Bennett was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits she has posted over her last six contests. Raegan Millette was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Trinity's record is now 8-5. As for CORE Butte, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Trinity has already played their next game, a 4-2 victory against Hoopa Valley on the 29th. As for CORE Butte, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 5-3 defeat against Enterprise on the 29th.
