The Pasco Bulldogs lost against the Moses Lake Mavericks back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Pasco fell to Moses Lake 50-44. Pasco has not had much luck with Moses Lake recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Pasco lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Mia Salgado, who scored 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Makayla Rublee, who scored ten points.
Pasco bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Moses Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 2-4.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pasco will take on Hanford at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Washington (Hanford is ranked 173rd, while Pasco is ranked 165th). As for Moses Lake, they will head out on the road to face off against Wenatchee at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
