When it comes to explaining why Delhi lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jay Wright. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points. The match was Wright's seventh in a row with at least ten points. Ge'ryl Barnes was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
Richwood's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-4. As for Delhi, their loss ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5.
