Kentridge is 4-0 against Federal Way since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Monday. The Kentridge Chargers will be playing at home against the Federal Way Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Kentridge is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
Last Saturday, Kentridge was able to grind out a solid win over Olympia, taking the game 52-44. Given Kentridge's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while Olympia is ranked 78th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Sydney Esperanza was the offensive standout of the game as she scored 11 points. Simone Brown was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Federal Way had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were dealt a 58-22 defeat at the hands of Decatur.
Their wins bumped Kentridge to 5-0 and Olympia to 1-2.
Everything went Kentridge's way against Federal Way in their previous matchup back in January as Kentridge made off with a 62-36 win. Does Kentridge have another victory up their sleeve, or will Federal Way turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
