They had just enough and edged the Vikings out  11-10. That's two games straight that Portsmouth Christian Academy has won by  just one  run.
  Lexi Jordan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She  pitched 3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   three  hits (she also only allowed one  walk). Jordan was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 In other batting news,  Eliza Arwood was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with a  home run, three  runs,  and three  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Kora Mackenzie, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 Epping suffered a grim  16-1 defeat to Portsmouth Christian Academy  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2023. Can Epping avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
