Riverside barely beat Spartanburg the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 17-8 margin over the Vikings on Tuesday. Considering the Warriors have won four matchups by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Riverside and bumps their season record up to 4-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Spartanburg, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Riverside wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-5 loss against Hillcrest on the 2nd. As for Spartanburg, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 26-8 victory against Eastside on the 4th.
