Aiken hasn't had much luck at home recently (they'd lost five straight ) but thanks in part to Tarrant McKenzie that streak is no more. The Fighting Green Hornets simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Gilbert Indians 81-17 for which the team can thank McKenzie, who shot 62% from the field en route to 20 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 45.5% field goal percentage.
Another player making a difference was Julian Graham, who posted nine points and six rebounds. He has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played.
Aiken's victory bumped their record up to 14-7. As for Gilbert, their loss was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-18.
