Belmont had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They put the hurt on the North Pontotoc Vikings with a sharp 3-0 victory on Tuesday. That looming 3-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cardinals yet this season.

One reason for the win was Belmont's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-14.

Keiley Robinson paced Belmont's offense, picking up 27 kills. Robinson got some help from Carsen Bohannon and her 30 assists. Robinson was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Belmont's win bumped their record up to 3-4.

Coming up, Belmont will square off against East Union at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Pontotoc, they will be playing at home against Nettleton at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
