Jacob Getchell Game Report: vs Silver Lake Regional

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Wednesday Jacob Getchell stepped things up a notch to give Whitman-Hanson Regional the 'W'. Getchell was dynamite, striking out six batters over seven innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Getchell and Whitman-Hanson Regional will be playing at home against Scituate at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are 7-2 against the Sailors going back to May of 2015, a lead they'll look to extend.
