If Bourbon County were riding high off their 41-20 takedown of Grant County three weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Bourbon County took a serious blow against Madison Southern two weeks ago, falling 13-48. Bourbon County were down by 13-34 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Rowan County were putting the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They were the clear victor by a 39-14 margin over Fleming County. The success made it back-to-back wins for Rowan County.
Rowan County's win lifted them to 3-1 while Bourbon County's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll see if Rowan County's success rolls on or if Bourbon County are able to steal their positive momentum.
