Belle Fourche may have come out ahead in their last game, but they shouldn't get too cocky given who is up next. On Friday, they are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Madison at 7:00 PM. The MaxPreps rankings say the odds are against Belle Fourche, but that can only make success all the sweeter.
Belle Fourche took care of business in their home opener. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Sturgis Brown 18-15. Having pegged this as anyone's game, the MaxPreps rankings were right on the nose.
Madison had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They snuck past Milbank with a 20-14 victory.
